Our uniform

The concept behind the collection is to create a truly inclusive capsule kit, with items that can be mixed and matched according to the individuals’ tastes and the genres’ examination requirements.

Our dancewear partners Dansez and a team of ISTD members, have created  a sustainable, inclusive and quality uniform range that offers flexibility and good value for both class and examination wear for theatre and disco, freestyle and rock n roll genres. Our classical Indian, ballroom, Latin and sequence uniforms will follow in 2025.

Call out for models

We’re looking for representation from a diverse mix of our membership across ballet, modern, tap, street, contemporary, national and Greek dance genres to take part in an exciting photoshoot to promote the uniform. Photos will be used to promote the products on the Dansez shop, and across ISTD website and all our communication channels to promote the uniform and the Society.

The day will involve solo and group work, and will provide the opportunity to experience a professional photoshoot with dance colleagues from across the country.
