This unit is designed to provide an introduction to the DDE teaching qualification. It covers much of the essential information that a dance teacher requires in order to maintain professional conduct and to keep themselves and others safe.
Part of the ISTD Academy Level 4 Diploma in Dance Education (DDE) and endorsed by Safe in Dance International (SIDI), the Preparing for Safe Teaching Practice unit introduces you to the fundamental principles of safe dance practice and essential information necessary for maintaining professional conduct and ensuring safety for all.
At the ISTD Academy, you have the flexibility to access individual units of study delivered intensively over 18 weeks, combining interactive online modules with engaging live lectures and tutorials.
