The dancers rose to the occasion admirably and did their teachers proud. They were supported by the highly accomplished Jonnie Gait on the piano, Sarah Wells as presenter of the Lower Junior, Junior and Middle categories and Sarah Bradshaw as the presenter and teacher of the Senior category.
We were extremely lucky to have a highly experienced panel of adjudicators with us on the day; Peter Parker, Christine Axon and Mary Stassinopoulos. In accepting their roles they were following in the footsteps of some of the greatest names in the ballet world; previous adjudicators of these prestigious awards have included Dame Ninette De Valois, Pamela May and Ursula Moreton. Peter, Christine and Mary passed on their wise hints and tips for progression to all the competitors as they delivered their results.
Lisa Hunter and a dedicated team of teachers delivered an extremely well planned and beautifully staged event, in which they were supported by members of the Committee.
