Heartfelt thanks to all the teachers who submitted an amazing 154 young dancers for the online Junior Ballet Awards this year. Entries came from the UK as well as from Ireland, Japan and Canada and, as ever, the standard was impressively high; congratulations are due to all competitors for performing so beautifully.
Sincere thanks too, to Faculty Committee members and Examiners, Ruth Davies, Fleur Jones and Irela Strachan, who choreographed the enchaînements. They created sensitive and musical exercises which were technically and artistically challenging, some of which you can enjoy in the video showreel.
This year our team of Adjudicators included highly respected Examiners Beverley Rand, Linda Shipton and Helen Steggles, who had the difficult task of selecting the winners featured in the video showreel. We are grateful to them for fulfilling their task with such skill and expertise.
