We’re excited to be joining forces with dance organisations across the country to be part of Let’s Dance – the biggest dance event the UK has ever laid on.  And we’re inviting you to get involved!

This fantastic initiative, spearheaded by Angela Rippon is all about encouraging everybody, at every age, to embrace the joy and benefits of dancing.

Dance organisations and charities, health professionals, community groups and celebrities are coming together on 2 March to get more people dancing to:

  • Raise awareness of the benefits of dance
  • Make it easier than ever for people to join in and find a dance activity – whatever their level, age or experience
  • Bring people together and connect through dance.

On Sunday 2 March 2025, Let’s Dance will get the whole nation moving, and we invite you to join the movement! Here are some ways to participate:

  • Open your existing dance classes to new participants.
  • Host an open studio event.
  • Partner with a local school to offer a taster class.
  • Organise a ‘bring a friend to dance’ session.
  • Create exciting taster classes and collect contact details for future follow-up.
  • Promote the event through local media or on your social media platforms.
  • Use the Let’s Dance logo in your marketing materials to show your support.
  • Share health benefits and statistics about dance to highlight its positive impact.

So please save the date, and or start planning if you know what you’d like to do - more information is coming soon. How you choose to get involved is up to you – you know best!
